Are you building or expanding?

In these challenging economic times, many owners are legitimately concerned that some contractors may cut certain corners to be the lowest bidder on their project. This can result in increased Maintenance and Repair expenses for the life of the sprinkler system.

Cherokee Fire Protection Co. offers new installation consultant programs, includng the following:

  • Review of Sprinkler Shop Drawings for consistency and compliance with owner and local code authority requirements and specifications. This review is performed by Allen Mull, a NICET Level IV Technician with decades of experience in the industry.
  • On-Site Inspections during and after system installation, to ensure that system is being installed in a quality manner. These on-site inspections are often conducted by Forest Wilson, Greg Brinker or Mark Karr, with a collective experience of more than 100 years in the industry.
  • Detailed reports to the owner, identifying any discrepencies and recommended corrective actions.

Through utlizing this service, owners can ensure they are receiving the quality installation they expect. Any discrepencies identified by Cherokee Fire Protection Co. can be repaired at the contractors expense, prior to final payment or as a warranty claim.

We have identified thousands of dollars in deficiencies for clients, which they were able to present to the installing contractor for immediate repair. In most cases, our clients realize an immediate return on their investment in this service.

Cherokee Fire Protection strongly encourages all owners to obtain 3rd party verification that their system has been installed properly prior to their warranty rights expiring.
